This is a reminder about several aspects of the Sticker on Demand system that is used for NH inspections. Here are some things that everyone needs to keep in mind concerning stickers.
- Please be sure to receive all new stickers into your NHOST unit as soon as you get them. This is done by using the "Receive Sticker Inventory" function in the "Sticker Tools" section of the NHOST software.
- Be sure to secure your sticker forms in a locked location as required by the NH DMV.
- It is important for you to designate any damaged stickers as "Damaged" on the NHOST unit. To do this, use the "Sticker Maintenance" function in the "Sticker Tools" section. Failing to mark physically damaged sticker forms as "Damaged" in the system will result in those stickers remaining as available in your sticker inventory, which could keep your unit from automatically ordering new forms when you need them.
- Be sure to retain all physically damaged sticker forms at your station. A State auditor who visits your station will need to confirm the status of all of your sticker forms, including damaged forms. Any forms that are in your inventory on the unit, but not readily available to the auditor, will be questioned by the auditor.
- If you receive sticker forms that have been damaged in shipping, please call the Help Line and let us know. If possible, taking pictures of the packaging and stickers will help us determine the cause of the damage and provide a full report to UPS.
- Any lost or stolen sticker forms need to be marked as "Lost" or "Stolen" in the system. Again, use the "Sticker Maintenance" function for this. Lost or stolen sticker forms will need to be reported to your local police. The police will provide you with a police report number which you will need in order to mark the forms as "Lost" or "Stolen".
- Each year we send a small quantity of current year plus three sticker forms (for example in December of 2024, 2027 sticker forms were shipped to stations). Along with this shipment of new sticker forms, an envelope is included for returning the current year sticker forms which can no longer be used. Please be sure not to send any damaged stickers or paper sticker books (like motorcycle stickers) when sending your current year stickers to Gordon Darby. As mentioned above, all damaged sticker forms need to be held onto at your station.
- Do not wait until you are out of stickers before calling the Gordon Darby Help Line. If you don't have enough stickers to cover your expected usage for one week, reach out to us so we can see if there is an order that has been shipped that you have not received yet, or if there is a reason why your unit has not placed an order.
