NH Automotive Education Foundation Welcomes Kate Amrol As Workforce Development Coordinator

We are pleased to welcome Kate Amrol as the new Workforce Development Coordinator for the NHADA Education Foundation. You will soon be seeing and hearing from Kate as she jumps fully into highlighting the great careers in automotive.

PARTNER SPOTLIGHT

Kate brings education, experience, and a commitment to student success to this position. She has partnered with NHADA over the last five years through her work at the Concord Regional Technical Center (CRTC). As the Program Coordinator for the CRTC, she served as the liaison between teachers, students, parents, and schools. In this role, Kate ensured their awareness of the resources and opportunities available through career and technical education.

In her time with the CRTC, Kate worked to increase work-based learning experiences in all 11 career pathway programs, making connections with new industry partners and maintaining relationships with established ones. She also worked with post-secondary partners maintaining a working knowledge of educational opportunities in high school through dual enrollment and early college credits and after graduation. Her knowledge and connections will benefit her in the workforce development position.

Kate describes her work this way:

“I feel every student should have the opportunity to discover and pursue their career and educational goals. I love witnessing those moments when students realize they can turn something they are passionate about into a career.”

Kate has a Master of Arts in Communication from Southern New Hampshire University. Her education provided her with the tools she needed to head the recruitment and marketing team for the CRTC. In 2021, a very challenging year with many restrictions, applications for admission came in at an all-time high. This can be attributed to Kate’s integrated recruitment campaign which combined targeted social media outreach, student ambassador initiatives, traditional advertising, and virtual school presentations.

Previous to her work with the CRTC, Kate worked in higher education administration at the University of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation. Through these positions she gained knowledge about college administration and funding options such as grants, scholarships, and financial aid. Kate’s strategic communication and proven methods for reaching and enrolling students will be a benefit to the NHADA Education Foundation.

Kate is from Concord, NH and is very connected to her community. She is a volleyball coach at Rundlett Middle School and has also volunteered as a Girls on the Run coach, Girl Scout leader, as PTO Vice President, and yearbook advisor. When she is not working, you can find her at the softball field, soccer field, and volleyball court watching her three kids play.

Kate’s proven commitment to students and their futures as well as her knowledge of career and college planning will make her an asset to the NHADA team and Education Foundation.

“I am excited to begin working with our members and educational partners to help ensure a strong future for the automotive industry.”
