We kicked off our tour visiting the HUOT Career and Technical Center in Laconia. We were joined on the first leg of our tour by Scott Ives and Bill Stanyan of Belknap Subaru, Jim Medeiros of Nucar of Tilton, and Buzz Boisselle of German Motorsports. Allowing students to interact with industry professionals gives greater insight about what it is like to work in the industry.
We followed our visit to the Huot Center with a visit to the Concord Regional Technical Center. Students of the Automotive Technology were joined by Adam Memmolo of Grappone Ford and Rick Gauthier of Banks Chevrolet.
Dakota Johnson donates his $500 check to the CRTC.
During our stop at the CRTC we awarded Dakota Johnson with a check of $500. This was awarded to him by our partners ACV Auctions at the Big Raffle. Dakota could donate this check to an organization of his choice and he chose to give it right back to his school, the CRTC!
Another stop on our road trip was the Salem CTE school where we were joined in the morning by Ryan Horgan and technicians Jeff and Shawn from Rockingham Toyota Honda. In the afternoon, Mark Tulley, John Murphy, and Kevin McLaughlin of Tulley Automotive as well as George Mullin from Souhegan Valley Motorsports stopped by to speak with the students. At Salem, we also awarded scholarships to Kyle Ouellette who placed third in the Automotive Competition and Tyler Desaultels who placed 2nd in the Small Engine Competition.
