ASE is offering students at ASE Accredited training programs free access to our Introduction to Automobile Service (IAS) program through July 31, 2020.
Delivered exclusively online, the program focuses on awareness of entry-level tasks related to basic automobile service. The first four modules cover general automotive service topics and the fifth consists of a final quiz covering the content in modules 1– 4. Those who successfully pass the IAS Quiz may print a customized certificate of completion.

ACTE
The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) is now offering a selection of free courses to prepare CTE teachers to teach online through their portal CTE Learn.
Note that the ASE Education Foundation is allowing up to 5 hours of training on effectively delivering distance learning/online instruction completed in Spring 2020 to be applied to instructors’ technical update training requirement for this year only.

Auto Upkeep
We are here to help teachers through their COVID-19 closure with free Auto Upkeep eBooks to all teachers and students whether they currently use Auto Upkeep or not. CDX is focused on helping the community of instructors challenged by a sudden push into distance learning. In response, we are doing two things:
For CDX instructors - Releasing daily distance learning assignments and training
- Concentrating on support for the CDX community of instructors, we are releasing daily distance learning assignments. These assignments are brand new, novel assignments. They use a variety of innovative ways to keep students engaged at a distance and require only internet access.

Daimler Truck North America
Through Daimler Truck’s Get Ahead program, schools can have access to curriculum anytime, not just in times like these. Schools with an ASE Accredited truck program can have free access to the curriculum and actually earn a system certification that is recognized at any of our 770 network locations. Go to https://www.TruckTechs.com, click on the GET AHEAD tab and follow the directions for schools. Schools first request a sponsoring location. Once approved, the instructor at the school has to pass the training modules and then they can turn on the training curriculum for their students.
Electude / CCAR
Electude and CCAR have stepped up and are offering first time users over 550 hours of Technical Training and Safety Training at no cost until August 1st.
Ford
Ford Motor Company is pleased to offer assistance to ASE Accredited Schools through the Ford Automotive Career Exploration (ACE) program.
Ford Automotive Career Exploration (ACE) is a partnership program between Ford Motor Company, Ford and Lincoln dealerships, and secondary and post-secondary educational institutions. There are no fees to educational institutions to participate in the Ford ACE program. Students attending a Ford ACE partnership school can obtain valuable knowledge of Ford/Lincoln vehicle systems by completing Web-Based Training (WBT) via our Learning Management System (LMS). These courses are a subset of the same courses taken by our current dealership technicians. By completing these WBT courses, the students are one step closer towards a career in the automotive industry, beginning as an entry level automotive service technician at a Ford/Lincoln dealership. General Motors / ACDelco
General Motors and ACDelco are strong supporters of future automotive technicians via ASE Accredited secondary and post-secondary schools. ACDelco is proud to announce an online training program available at no cost to all ASE Accredited high school and college instructors and students.
Instructors will have access to over 100 ACDelco web-based training courses. Students will be given access to over 20 technical and business web-based training courses.
Instructors must register their participation in the program prior to enrolling students. To register, please have your school program’s ASE Education Foundation Program ID (six-digit number) available. If you don’t know it, contact the Foundation at info@aseEducationFoundation.org.

Grote Know-How is an online resource with six sections covering electrical basics, vehicle lighting, installation, and troubleshooting.
