Accessing NHOST Training Videos
Training videos, which previously were stored on the NHOST units, are available for viewing on Gordon Darby's website, NHOSTSERVICES.com. This change was made when the current contract began in 2020 as a way to make the training videos available for mechanics to watch at their own convenience and comfort, no longer needing to stand at the NHOST unit to perform the training.

Viewing Instructions
- Simply navigate to NHOSTSERVICES.com and once there you will see a link to "Inspector Training" in the green header bar.
- Click on the words "Inspector Training" to open a page where you will be presented with a menu of training topics on the left side of the screen.
- Clicking on any one of those topics will bring up a series of related videos. To play a video, simply click on the video in the list to the right of the viewing box (or below the viewing box on a smartphone) and this will bring the video up in the viewing box. Then click on the "Play" arrow to start the video. There are icons on the viewing portion of the screen that will allow you to adjust the volume of the audio, make the video full screen and even download the video to your device.
Please be sure to have any state certified inspector who is not yet authorized in the NHOST system watch these videos as they are intended to provide training on the emission program and on using the NHOST equipment. Once the inspector has watched the videos, they will be ready to take the exam located in the "Information and Training" section on the unit. Once they pass the exam, they will then be authorized to begin inspecting using the NHOST unit.
